It would appear that the iPhone and iPod Touch universal remote market is starting to heat up. The first announcement comes from L5 Technology, who has developed a small add-on piece of hardware and an App compatible with all iPhone and iPod Touch models, which turns the devices into a full featured universal remote control. RTI doesn’t normally exhibit at CES. I’m not even sure it’s happened in the past. However RTI’s press agency recently sent out a bit of a teaser email, claiming that the company will be exhibiting. And cross-referencing that with the official CES 2010 exhibitor list has revealed that they will indeed be there, but not under the usual Remote Technologies Inc. name. Read more...
