Sure, RTI doesn’t normally do CES... but they’ll be there this year under a new name: Pro Control.

RTI doesn’t normally exhibit at CES. I’m not even sure it’s happened in the past. However RTI’s press agency recently sent out a bit of a teaser email, claiming that the company will be exhibiting. And cross-referencing that with the official CES 2010 exhibitor list has revealed that they will indeed be there, but not under the usual Remote Technologies Inc. name.
Instead, they’ll be showing in South Hall 2, booth #25213 as Pro Control. The corporate address is the same as RTI, and the overview on the CES exhibitor list reads: “Pro Control is an affordable new remote control brand for the professional integrator including handhelds, processors and intuitive software. Offering rock-solid reliability and advanced features like feedback from iPods, A/V receivers, HVAC and lighting; this line is perfect for any home theater.”
A simple corporate rebrand, or an entirely new product line? We’ll know for sure in a matter of hours... but in the mean time, let the speculation begin!

With the release of the Pro.zwi module, Z-Wave integration is a go with Pro Control!
