In other news...
Philips has announced that they will begin to repair the LCD screens on Pronto models. Although "normal use" breaks are still covered by warranty (note that most breaks don't quality), previously if you accidentally broke the screen Philips would charge $150 for a factory refurbished remote. Now, the fee is $99 plus tax (but including return shipping) to get your existing remote repaired. All new screens come with a 90 day warranty. The number at Philips to contact is 1-800-300-9013.
Finally, a warning to TSU2000 and new European SBCRU940 remote control owners: do not upgrade the firmware on your Pronto remote! The only available firmware files are for older remotes - if you flash your remote it will be rendered useless! I have spoken to Philips about the importance of either finally releasing ProntoEdit v2.0, or at bare minimum providing flash update files for these two new models.
