Logitech may have revealed earlier this year that they’re looking to sell off the Harmony line, but that apparently doesn’t mean they’re content to rest on their laurels in the meanwhile. Some users have noted a recent unavailability of all but the newest Harmony remotes in retail stores, and attributed that to Logitech winding down production. Nope! Turns out they were merely waiting for their brand new models to become available!

First up in today's announcement is the Harmony Ultimate, a 15-device IR/RF universal remote priced at $349.99 MSRP that features a 2.4” color touchscreen supporting swipes and taps. It features vibration feedback, backlit buttons, a tilt sensor, offers direct control of Philips Hue lighting systems, the ability to place different commands on buttons for both “short” or “long” presses, and comes with a rechargeable battery pack and docking station.

The Harmony Smart Control is an 8-device all-hard-button IR/RF remote priced at $129.99 MSRP, intended to be paired with the included Harmony Smartphone App. The app, which is also included with the Ultimate, allows full WiFi-based control over your entertainment system from your iOS or Android phone.

Both new remotes are RF-enabled and ship with the Harmony Hub, a wireless basestation that not only offers non-line-of-sight control over traditional infrared devices, but even Bluetooth game controls such as the Sony PS3, Nintendo Wii, and the Wii U.
