It’s Friday and we have another new video for you! Today you’ll learn about the latest products from
RTI, as Pete Baker demonstrates the RTiPanel application on iPad and Android tablets, unveils the SURFiR hard buttoned companion remote, and introduces the new high-resolution KX7 in-wall universal controller.
You’ll find HD encodes of the video in both 720p and 1080p resolutions, plus a “regular” version for those on a bandwidth diet. The highly recommended HD versions should play on the majority of modern PCs with the latest Adobe Flash player, but if you have any difficulties try the “regular” version.
Quite by coincidence, I noticed that it was on this same day way back in 2002 when we introduced our first ever online video, covering the remote controls shown at that year’s CEDIA Expo held in Minneapolis. Back then I was using a tiny Samsung “substandard definition” video camera and editing in the not-so-glorious first version of Windows Movie Maker, which didn’t even allow video background sounds to be muted. My, how things have changed since then!
If you feel like a bit of a retro trip back to the days of iProntos, Kameleons and Harmony when they were still a fledgling upstart company, you can find that report online here.
