With the new server proving itself reliable over the past couple of days, I’m now very pleased to make our first big announcement: the winners from The Great ProntoPro NG TSU7000 PCF design contest are officially in! That’s right, we’ve completed tabulating the final voting results from the contest where YOU, as loyal Remote Central readers, had the chance to pick which entry won top honors!

There is over $9,300 in fantastic prizes to be awarded, including a 42” plasma television and ProntoPro NG TSU7000 remote controls, all provided courtesy of Philips! Each of the 34 qualifying PCF design entries were excellent, and I’m sure you’re eager to see which designs won – and who created them!

The winning designs can be viewed immediately on the results page, while all contest entries have been moved to a special section in our Pronto NG file area where they can be downloaded. Furthermore, the author of each contest entry has now been revealed! For a limited time you may continue to use the voting program to browse through full-size screenshots for each contest submission, although voting has been disabled.

The winners of this competition have NOT yet received official notification from us (that will be sent on Friday) – so be sure to congratulate them in the Pronto NG forum!
