Last month the CEDIA Expo 2006 was held in Denver, Colorado. Although the show is targeted mainly towards home theater and whole home custom installers, the more intimate setting is quickly becoming a favorite place for manufacturers to launch brand new products – and of course that includes universal remote controls!
I'm very pleased today to release a milestone, namely our tenth video so far, the CEDIA Expo 2006 Video Report. In this year's extended eight and a half minute video you'll not only see all of the latest handheld universal remote controls and accessories as exhibited at the show, but you'll also get special spoken introductions to four of the remotes, you'll be able to see a little bit of the city of Denver, and you'll even experience the ever-famous Amp Toss!
New remote products covered include:
- AMX Mio Modero R-4
- Logitech Harmony 1000
- Philips Pronto Professional TSU9600
- Remote Technologies Inc. T2-C
- Remote Technologies Inc. M2
- Samsung Electronics MFR
- Universal Electronics Inc. SIRIUS Conductor
- Universal Remote Control Inc. MSC-400
You'll find links to three versions of the video on our CEDIA 2006 report page, starting with a "small" version for dialup users, followed by a "large" version for broadband users, and finally there’s an "HDTV" version in
full 720p high definition glory for extreme broadband users who want the ultimate quality experience! This is our fourth video produced in HD so far, and I hope you'll also have to time check out some of the
others!
