The annual CEDIA Expo 2004 was held earlier this month in the city of Indianapolis, Indiana. Targeted mainly towards home theater and whole home custom installers, the more intimate setting is quickly becoming a favorite place for manufacturers to launch brand new home electronics – including remotes!
Today I’m very pleased to release our fifth-ever video report, the Cedia 2004 Quick Tour. In this approximately seven-and-a-half minute long video, you’ll get to see the numerous new remotes that were exhibited at the show. Specifically:
- Crestron MT-1000
- Logitech Harmony H676
- Logitech Harmony H680
- Marantz RC9500
- Philips RC9800i
- RTI T1
- RTI T2+
- RTI T3
- Sony Navitus RM-NX1000
- Sony RM-TP100
- UEI Nevo SL
- UEI Kameleon “Orion”
- URC “Osiris” MX-350
- URC “Omega” MX-650
- URC “Orion” MX-850
- URC “Aurora” MX-950
With a list like that, you can see why the video’s over seven minutes in length! Of course you’ll also get to witness one of CEDIA’s trademark attractions, the famous “amp toss”!
Links to low and high quality versions of the video are available on the new CEDIA 2004 report page, which is where other show-related information will be appearing in the near future. If you can wait for the download, I strongly recommend viewing the high quality version as it looks and sounds much better!
