A Ferrari 250 being driven through early summer morning 1970's Paris streets with camera on the front. No stunts, no SFX, no practice, no closed streets. Most hair raising experience you will ever get as you go through red lights and avoid pedestrians. Arrests were made following its release! One critic said "Makes Bullit look like a cartoon". Re-released by Spirit Level films. A must have.

The sound (sampled from 2001: A Space Odyssey) moves all around the room while Roger's music gently tantalises your senses. Almost a moment of perfect beauty in sound.

Features: the small things in life Description: Except for the obvious car chase scene/explosions & stuff, I didn't expect this movie to excel in 5.1, but listen for the simple things. All the way through, there's stuff like doors shutting in one rear speaker or a passing car panning across one side when it's not even relevant to the scene, but adding realism nontheless. A lot of effort's gone into this.

Saints and Soldiers (1 vote) - Rate This Scene - Voting Breakdown Location: Shooting Scenes Features: Great Surround for a low budget film Description: The sound of the rifles is amazing and VERY realistic...long echo and decay....which is a nice change of pace from most pop-gun sounding WWII movies....even better than SPR rifles imo. Considering this was a low budget film it was very refreshing to see they saved a few buck for great sound.
