Look familiar? Although we’ve never covered a Sunwave branded universal remote before, we have already covered several products made by them under the independent Crisp Solutions label, such as the UCommand 525 and UCommand 626. Sunwave is principally an OEM of remotes, meaning that they manufacture products intended to be marketed by other companies. However, they’ve started to market products in the USA under their own brand name, and recently provided us with their latest and greatest remote control.
I’m very pleased today to present our complete review of the SRC-3810, which is an upgrade of the UCommand 525 (also known as the SRC-8000). The SRC-3810 is a compact LCD touchscreen remote that has had significant upgrades and improvements made to it since the UC-525. There’s twice as many devices, 75% more controls per device, 250% more possible functions, 60-step macros on any button, favorite channel macros, a greater level of screen customization, vibrant ultra blue backlighting and easy remote setup.
Could this finally be the compact touchscreen remote that can do it all? You’ll have to read our detailed review, complete with plenty of photos, to find out!
