I have been promised a review unit of the IRIQ that should be arriving shortly. In the mean time, I've received a press release kit from Harman Kardon describing their Take Control remote.
It is fairly brief on specific details, however it does mention that it controls up to 15 devices and allows you to sort up to 32 individual activities such as "Watch TV". Each activity can have a label up to 27 characters long. It includes built-in IR codes for most equipment, a CD-ROM with PC software and a serial connector cable. Windows 95/98 or Windows NT on a minimum of a 486/25 with 8mb RAM is required to run the software.
It's specifications are a transmission range of 23 feet up to 120kHz, and a learning frequency up to 120kHz. It requires 4 AA batteries, weighs 13.4oz with batteries and has dimentions of 2 1/8" x 3 3/8" x 7 1/2" (HxWxL).
You can view Harman's press release here. I hope to have more information available on these remotes as soon as possible.
