Update: Hope everyone had a good weekend! There's isn't too much to report for today. I've
reviewed
The Iron Giant DVD, which is a fantastic animated
movie from Warner. Also, I've been busy getting the equipment together that will alow me to take
better photographs of the remote I review. Good things are coming soon!
Last week saw a few new CCF files from Flemming
Jensen and Jay Mitchosky, plus a small update in the
gallery section to my own configuration. Remember when you upload files to include as detailed
a description as possible, including all included components and special features.
A reader pointed out an interesting home theater system remote control from
ADCOM named "The Ball". It's basically an
IR-learning remote that operates through RF to automate the control of a (mostly included) home
theater system through a simple on-screen interface. The remote itself consists of a trackball
and several buttons, the interface is a full-color graphical operating system. The catch? It also
comes with an ADCOM audio system consisting of a preamp, amplifier and dolby digital decoder. You
also get wired IR transmitters to control the rest of your system. A package price isn't posted,
however the technology seems like a further development of Sony's infamous VisionTouch system.
But perhaps this time ADCOM got it right.
That childhood favorite is back in a new Timmy video.
