Monday: Well, today is a holiday here in Canada, so I thought you all might like something a little different. As always, the first sign of spring is when the robins show up. Around here, quite a few robins took up residence. Unexpected demand on nesting locations ended up with three building their nests in our front yard. While most built in traditional locations, one particularly determined bird chose a yew bush right next to the driveway. Despite constant vehicular and foot traffic, the robin stuck it out and now has four little ones to care for. Now that they've got a few feathers on, I decided it was time to capture a few photographs and put one online. Hope you enjoy. Click the photo for a larger view.

DVD review: As a final note, I watched Galaxy Quest this weekend and wrote up a full review. Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver together in a comedy packed with sci-fi special effects... what's not to like? Check it out!
