Direct Code Entry:
Turn on the component you wish to control.
Press and hold the [CODE SEARCH] button until the LED lights.
Press the button for the device you want to program.
Enter the 3-digit code for your device. The LED should turn off. If you entered an invalid code the light blinks.
Test the code by pressing the [POWER] button, or use [PLAY] for VCR, LD, CD and DVD players. If it does not respond, repeat steps 3 and 4 for each code listed.
Code Search:
Turn on the component you wish to control
Press and hold the [CODE SEARCH] button until the LED lights.
Press the button for the device you want to program. The LED will blink and remain lit.
Press and release the [POWER] key until your device shuts off. This may take some time as there are hundreds of codes.
When your device turns off, press the [ENTER] button to save. The LED will shut off.
After you have configured your devices using the Code Search feature, you might need to find out which code was assigned.
Press and hold the [CODE SEARCH] button until the LED lights
Press the button for the device you want to retrieve.
Press and release the [CODE SEARCH] button. The LED will shut off.
Starting with the numeric button [0], press all number buttons in order until the LED lights. When it does, that's the first number of the three digit code. Repeat this process for digits three and four.
Programming the AUX Key:
Turn on the component you wish to control
Press and hold the [CODE SEARCH] button until the LED lights.
Press and release the [AUX] button. The LED will remain lit.
Select the type of device you would like to program by pressing the matching device button. Use DBS/SAT for a Cable Box or DVD for a CD player.
Enter the 3-digit code for your device. The LED should turn off. If you entered an invalid code the light blinks.
Test the code by pressing the [POWER] button.
Sleep Timer: The Sleep Function will turn off a device after a designated amount of time, from 1 to 99 minutes.
Press the button for the device you want to enable this on.
Press the [SLEEP] key once for 15 minutes. Each time you press the [SLEEP] key the time will increment 15 minutes, up to a maximum of 60 minutes.
Keep your remote pointed at the device. After the configured time expires, the device will be shut off.
To Cancel the Sleep Timer:
Press and hold the [SLEEP] button until the LED blinks, or
Press the [ON/OFF] button, turning your television off.
