Review: | I'll keep it short. This remote is the best thing I've ever purchased. Unlimited macros, design your own buttons, learning. You can really do anything with it. You're only limited by your own creativeness. I bought mine from hypaudio.com for $300. Came brand new in the box, and was much cheaper than anywhere else. Knowing how much I know now about it, I would have easily paid more. You just have to be willing to spend some time setting it up on a computer to really get results. I spent about 10-15 hours before I got it setting it up on the computer. If you look at the ProntoEdit software before purchasing, it really gives you an idea of what can be done on it. I've seen a lot of people on this review site that say it is junk or too hard to learn. No offense, but these people are probably not very computer literate or not willing to take the time to learn. It is not a hard software program to learn. Download some CCF files from other people, and look at what they did. Then start your own. That's the best way to learn.
I had many questions about this remote before I bought it, and know how hard it was getting the answers. So, if you'd like, email me at mc19991999@hotmail.com with any of your questions and I'll get back to you ASAP. It was hard getting someone at Philips to answer all my questions. Good luck! |
