I have an AMS-AIP that seems to be working properly with OOTBF Firmware but the error log shows this after resetting to factory defaults:

"Fatal: NVRAM File system is invalid. Run NVRAMDISK to correct the problem"

If I run NVRAMDISK it says Not Initialized.

Question is should I run INITIALIZE first and then NVRAMDISK and if so will that in any way interfere with or remove the OOTBF file system? Or should I simply ignore the error?

You need to initialize the NVRAM.

johnmax...

Initializing the NVRAM cleaned things up and completed properly however in the process it wiped out the OOTB front panel installer tools. It did however correct the problem of the main theater amp section not working. It works now running one of the demo programs but that is limited and not what I am looking for.

I can find the Adagio front panel installer tools module in simpl but can't quite figure out how to reload it to the processor since it's now a .usp file. After compile, toolbox doesn't like it for an upload to the system so I am at a loss.

Hopefully someone has an idea on how to get this done.

I faced a similar issue with my AMS-AIP recently. Running INITIALIZE followed by NVRAMDISK seemed to resolve the problem for me without affecting the OOTBF file system. However, I would suggest double-checking with the manufacturer's documentation or support team just to be sure.
