Yes, I checked, 0-ohm impedance, no x-joints or shorts.
I also tried reversing pin2 and 3 - but then the software immediately reports an error.
Can you please tell me the exact communication-settings of your serial port?
[i.e. 9.600bps, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop-bit, UART / FIFO Buffer yes/no, etc...]
