For: UEI NevoSL By: Rene Vielgrader | AV Control, Media Streaming, Full WiFi This configuration mimics the rooms in a house, providing full control of the AV equipment in the individual rooms as well as controlling media streaming to four areas in the house. This is accomplished by hosting all the media on one PC in the study, making downloading and editing of playlists easy. The second PC sits in the lounge and is acting as a media player and MCE PC. Since this is connected to a multi room audio controller, music can be played in four areas. Full wireless control provides interactive music selection with meta data on screen. PS: The MRA controller needs extensive programming and teaching of IR codes for this system to work. |

For: UEI NevoSL By: Drew Preston | Drew's Media Room I designed this program around an activity based setup. My Dad comes to visit regularly and he couldn't figure out how to use my system with my old remote - I tried to make it as user friendly as possible and I think I accomplished that goal - I know my Dad never asks me how to use the system anymore - I didn't even have to show him what to do with this setup. I made it extremely easy to change channels by using the Channel Logos as the main interface to change cable> channels instead of using the digits. Right now - it has a Rotel processor but early next week I'm replacing that with an Atlantic Technologies Processor. I'll post an update when complete. |

For: UEI NevoSL By: Kris | Kris' First Nevo Setup This system incorporates a Sony VCR to change channels on the tunerless plasma. It's my first Nevo set up, so pardon if its amateur. For instance, I should have set up short-cuts (global macros) for channel presets, instead of doing them all one by one with macros. This set up was designed for a customer who is not a button pusher, so many settings controls are tucked away, leaving just transport functions in the forefront. |
