Remote Control Watches Have you ever been at a bar or restaurant where the TV just wasn't on the channel you wanted? Well, take control of the situation - discreetly! The Tonyx TV/Video remote control watches join popular offerings presently on the market by Casio in providing full control of A/V devices from your wrist. The TV-18 is capable of controlling a TV, VCR or Cable Box with volume, channel, keypad and power buttons. The more compact TV-28 skips the keypad and can control a TV or VCR with preprogrammed codes. However, since the company producing these is located in Taiwan, you may have some difficulty locating these two watches easily.

Speaking of Casio, the TV-28 is eerily similar to the Casio CMD40B-1, a spiffy remote watch that is designed to control a TV or cable box. The CMD40B-1 includes power, channel, volume and keypad buttons, can learn up to 16 infrared codes and includes a 8-digit calculator, stopwatch, alarm and more. Somewhat disappointingly, Casio has not been developing their remote control watch line in favor of more "interesting" products such as the recently introduced digital camera or MP3 watches. When will they learn, eh?
